Tucson Home Renovations & Repairs

At Coyote Contracting & Renovation LLC, we work on all types of homes. We remodel, renovate, and restore contemporary homes as well as older Tucson and Southern Arizona houses. We also renovate and service apartments, condos, trailers/mobile homes and pretty much anything else you can live in. However, most of the renovation projects we do are older home renovations, restorations or remodels on Tucson’s older homes such as Sam Hughes homes, victorian homes, spanish colonial homes, santa fe homes, sonoran homes, mediterranean revival homes, modern ranch homes, pueblo revival homes, and adobe style homes.

Roof Repairs, Mold, Asbestos, & Water Damage

The older the home, the higher chances you may need home renovations or repairs. The more common renovation and repairs we see are roof repairs from hail storms, water and flood damage from the monsoon rains, mold damage (Tucson has high levels of mold), and asbestos removal. Homes built before 1985 in Tucson may have asbestos, or popcorn ceilings. When making home repairs we make sure to protect the home owner’s safety as well as our workers safety. We do this by setting up double plastic walls to mask off and properly quarantine areas, hepa filters if needed, proper respirators, and chemical safe suits. After the job is done, we will clean up, double bag, and properly dispose of said materials at a certified disposal company. We follow all O.S.H.A safety standards and regulations.

Job safety is number one and our goal is to avoid any accidents. If your a DIY type of homeowner, sometimes it pays to hire a trained professional contractor to take care of your Tucson renovations and repairs. It’s important to note that we will work with your home insurance company when you’ve filed an insurance claim from damages.

Tucson Repairs, Renovations, & Restorations

The most common repairs and renovations in your area depends on your geographic location and more specifically, the weather you live in. Tucson residents’ problems are far different than someone who lives in Flagstaff. In Tucson, the summer heat can be our biggest enemy. In Flagstaff, where there is a high level of snow fall, winter is the more taxing season.

As desert dwellers, we experience quite the temperature fluctuations. Our hottest summer days can reach up to 120 degrees and our coldest winter nights can get down to 6 degrees Fahrenheit! This means a lot of expanding and contracting which slowly but surely leads to many different problems. Southern Arizona also has higher than normal levels of mold. If you have leaky pipes or any water damage at all, make sure you take care of the problem as soon as possible. Water damage can lead to mold problems very quickly.
